Description
950 g Helmos Greek Black Pine Honey – natural, strong, from the highlands of the Peloponnese
Product description
The Helmos Greek Black Pine Honey is harvested in the high pine forests of the Helmos Mountains on the Greek peninsula of Peloponnese. The bees collect honeydew from the Black pine (Pinus nigra) – a tree species that grows in remote high altitudes and has a dark, thick and intensely tasting honey Typical of black pine honey is its strong, slightly resinous aroma with a mineral note.
The production takes place raw, cold-pressed, unfiltered and unpasteurized. This ensures that pollen, enzymes and plant-derived substances are completely preserved. Helmos Greek Black Pine Honey comes from a single region (Single Origin) and is bottled traditionally in small batches – without industrial treatment.
For more natural specialties, it is also worth taking a look at our raw Yemeni Sidr honey – also directly from the beekeeper and carefully processed.
